Live Art Development Agency:
Thinker In Residence - Adrien Sina

The Thinker in Residence is a new initiative of the Live Art Development Agency whereby we invite an artist, curator, or other arts professional to work with us to address a specific issue and help us creatively consider aspects of our work, and find new ways of approaching identified challenges.

As Thinker in Residence Adrien Sina is considering issues of Performance, Politics, Ethics and Human Rights, in relation to historical and contemporary practices and ideas of representation, documentation and archiving. His work will contribute to the development of the Live Art Development Agency's Study Room and inform the Agency's work for PSi #12: Performing Rights in June 2006.

For his Thinker programme Adrien Sina has developed a Study Room Guide in the form of a website [new window] which provides an historical overview of the development of the question of Human Rights and illustrates the historical and contemporary strategies undertaken by artists.
